I received a call from a man identifying himself as. and am employee of Vector along with several spam text messages in which he claims he received permission from a former employee of yours to contact me to recruit me for the position and told me he had spoken with that friend on Monday. I called my friend,., who let me know he had filled out a list of his contacts under pressure from.
before. had resigned from his employment with Vector and. was told this was a list for him to call and that. wouldn't be bothering anyone on that list without his explicit verbal permission on a case to case basis.

He got defensive and tried to lie and tell me he had permission from. who was a current employee (he was not and hadn't been for over two months) to contact me and try to offer me a job. He then proceeded to sell me more knives telling me that I'd receive 'generous discounts' and free product.I have two complaints'First: I ordered two knives from Cutco and was told that I would receive a free set of knives and a discount on the two knives. I was charged $283 for a H.
Slicer knife that's advertised as costing $90 and a Bird's Peak Pairing Knive that's advertised as $69! That's $159, NOT $283, and there's no discount! They sent me a free set of dinner knives which are so cheap that they are unusable. They charged me in excess of the advertised prices of the two knives I ordered and there was no discount offered. And then they didn't respond to any of my very frustrating emails asking/demanding an explanation.I want to return both of the knives I bought and the cheap dinner knives they sent along as a free gift. NO ONE at the corporate office has responded to my email requests and my Colorado rep,., was extremely unprofessional, and I refuse to work with him ever again.Secondly: I own about 8 Cutco knives that are so worn out that the rep I met with told me that the blades would have to be replaced.
He took all of my knives to replace them but they were returned to me in the same condition. It appeared the blades had been sharpened but they were not replaced.

When my knifes arrived, one was not to my liking so I returned it and was charged for the vegetable peeler which was a free gift.
I feel the company was dishonest with me about the free gift. I feel I could receive the full refund for the cost of the knife I retuned instead of the cost of the knife minus the vegetable peeler. I feel the company has been misleading and dishonest in my desire to return the knife.
My sister gave me a Cutco knife set as a gift a couple of years back. She paid over $1,000 for the knives and the wooden block.
I was reluctant to send my knives to get sharpened because I use them almost daily and it was hard for me to part from them. I had been running into a Cutco sale rep in the El Centro and Palm Desert Costco on separate occasions and she convinced me by saying that the process was headache free and worth it. I sent my knifes on 6/6/19. I followed all of the instructions given and sent a check in the amount of $9.00 to cover the return shipping and handling. I sent 9 knives back. I get the knives back on 06/20/19, exactly 2 weeks later. When I opened the box, I was in total disbelief, I wanted to cry!
